Marine mammal stranding response toolkit

avril 2024

As part of the CAMAC project, a troolkit for responding to strandings in the field has been produced. It consists of 5 videos, a guide and field forms.

The kit was produced for professionals and experts. It can be consulted by the general public out of curiosity, but it does not in any way give authorisation to intervene in a stranding or to handle live or dead animals.

The videos can be viewed below and the documents can be downloaded in pdf format.
Other versions are available on request only:

  • PowerPoint versions of the videos with and without audio,
  • Word versions of the guide and certain forms.

To obtain them, please contact the Agoa Sanctuary by e-mail at  sanctuaire.agoa@ofb.gouv.fr or the SPAW-RAC at carspaw@developpement-durable.gouv.fr

WARNING: consulting the documents in this toolkit does not authorise you to handle animals, whether live or dead. Please take note of the regulations in your area.
