The Management Plan of the Agoa Sanctuary
Based on the management orientations, the management plan identifies the protection, knowledge, showcase and cooperation objectives of the Agoa Sanctuary. This vision of marine space management serves as a guiding principle for all the day-to-day actions of the Sanctuary.
Management Plan 2023-2037
The second management plan of the Agoa Sanctuary covers a 15-year time period. It contains 25 operational objectives divided into 80 management measures and 141 actions on the following issues:
- Hunting
- Collisions
- Contaminants and waste
- Professional fishing
- Acoustic pollution
- Whale watching
- Knowledge of species
- International cooperation

Management Plan 2012-2017 (French)
The first management plan covered the period between 2012 and 2017 and included two volumes: initial state and the action plan with the indicators. It is only available in French.
