Le projet Interreg Caraïbes CAMAC a été officiellement lancé lors d'une journée dédiée pendant le Congrès mondial de la baleine à bosse, en République Dominicaine, le 9 mars 2023.
Lors de cette journée, un atelier a eu lieu pendant lequel les participants ont pu échanger autour de tables rondes thématiques.
Les sujets discutés concernaient les thèmes suivants :
- les interactions pêche et mammifères marins
- les réseaux échouages
- l'éducation à l'environnement
- les connaissances scientifiques

Report of the CAMAC project launch day and thematic round tables
The Interreg Caribbean CAMAC project was officially launched on a dedicated day during the World Humpback Whale Congress in the Dominican Republic on 9 March 2023.
On this day, a workshop was held during which participants were able to exchange ideas around thematic round tables.
The topics discussed were:
- interactions between fishing and marine mammals
- stranding networks
- environmental education
- scientific knowledge
